Like many essential oils, Cedarwood can be linked back to ancient Egypt, Rome, and Greece. Cedarwood offers many health benefits and can be used as an antiseptic, antispasmodic, antiseborrhoeic, astringent, diuretic, emenagogue, expectorant, fungicidal substance, insecticidal, sedative, and tonic.
Cedarwood is amazing for helping with muscle pain. Try adding 4-6 drops of Cedarwood oil into a warm bath, and then soak for 20-30 minutes. This greatly eases muscle pain, and helps you relax.
**BONUS: If you add 2-3 drops of Ylang-ylang and Rosemary to your warm bath, you can help relieve tension and anxiety as well.
